Guests arrive 5-5.30pm, pls put background music on when you are set. 6.30 - 7.30pm then 8 - 9pm. There is a room for you. The goal of having a band is to try to give Stu the biggest send off. His words "I want good food, free bar and good music". Most people won't be in the mindset for a party but I'm hoping as the drinks start to flow, your wonderful band starts hitting us with some fantastic funk, soul and Motown, people will start to ease in to the idea. There will be food around so help yourselves and also drinks at the bar.

On arrival, please go through the front gates and continue straight, go through two sets of wooden gates and you will see the marquee in front of you. Please follow the no cars sign and park behind the wicker fence near the blue containers - you can then unload via the kitchen doors into the corner next to the dance floor (not on the dance floor).
guests will start moving to the marquee at 5.30pm with aim to be sat for 6pm. They have two speeches at 6pm and with the viewing of starters being served at 6.30pm. If the band could please try and get as much equipment in 5pm-6pm, then pause whilst speeches are happening. Once starters have then gone out, I can let them know and they can get back to setting up as quietly as possible please? Just that loading in is via the kitchen. With regards to access, we do have a loading bay however the raised section you unload onto is more catered for lorries than vans so I would say the easiest thing to do would be to park at main reception and bring everything up through the main customer lift.

You must plug into the in-house system - must be electric drum kit and all monitoring MUST be IEM and no wedge/speaker monitors are permitted on stage and no amps may be used. They have an electric drum kit there (Roland Drum system VAD506-2). You need your own stool, microphones, stands, cables, monitors and mixing console - connection is made by plugging in your stereo XLR cables from your mixer to the XLR wall plate. musicians must use direct injection (DI) inputs and can also use in-ear monitoring if required.
